For some folks it’s Christmas. For some it’s thanksgiving. Or maybe their birthday. Not for me. My favorite day of the year is whatever day the annual Halloween dog parade takes place at the Tompkins Square dog run. Today was that day. And while this awesome canine was one of the finalists he was totally robbed of a very well-deserved 1st place. Criminal!

addendum: This super cute boxer’s name is Benny, and you can see him out of costume at Matt Stopera’s tumblr.
